Size: 2,645 SF
CFR provided project management, MEP and structural engineering, and cleanroom construction consultant services for the renovation/expansion of 2,645 SF operating nano-fabrication Class 100/ISO 5 clean room. CFR performed HVAC upgrades to reduce the humidity in the room and to achieve a design set point of 70°F +/- 2°F and 40% +/- 2% relative humidity. CFR modified and designed new HVAC system(s), plumbing and electrical associated with the HVAC upgrades to support the current system(s) already in place.
Client: GE Healthcare
Size: 6,500 SF
The general scope of this project was the renovation of 6,500 SF of space at GE Healthcare. 1355 SF of this total was a mixture of ISO Class 7 and 8 validated cleanroom space. Work included modification of existing HVAC systems to properly serve the office spaces and providing necessary input utilities for the cleanroom HVAC systems. Plumbing included providing for necessary condensate drainage from the new air handling systems. Also included modification of existing wet sprinkler system to properly cover the area, as well as modification of existing lighting, power, and fire alarm systems to properly serve the space and provide necessary input utilities for the cleanroom electrical systems.
